Funeral services will be Friday for Lillian M. Palmersheim who died Monday at an extended care hospital. She was 97.
A native of Indiana, Mrs. Palmersheim came to Santa Cruz from Modesto in 1949. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Capitola.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winand F. Palmersheim.
Funeral services will be Friday at Irvin M. Smith and Sons, Chapel of the Four Seasons, 1050 Cayuga St. at 10:30 a.m. and will proceed to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 435 Monterey Ave., Capitola, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rev. Joel Almendras will officiate.
The Rosary will be recited at the mortuary chapel Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
