Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Irvin M. Smith and Sons chapel, 1050 Cayuga St. Services will be Saturday from the mortuary at 9:30 a.m. to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Capitola where a requiem mass will be said at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
Born in Wisconsin, Palmersheim was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Knights of C olumbus. He worked for the Los Angeles Water Department for 18 years, then moved to Modesto. He came here 22 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Palmersheim of Santa Cruz, and several nieces and nephews.
