Mr. Brown was born in Union County on Sept. 9, 1930. a son of the late Walter Arthur Brown Sr., and Nora Hall Brown.
Surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Carl (Edna) Stevens and Mrs. Beatrice Moss both of Union; two brothers, John W. Brown of Anderson and Walter A. Brown of Pickens; a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery by Dr. Wayne Stevens.
The family is at the home of his sister, Mrs. Carl Stevens, 112 Hillcrest Drive, Union.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Whitten Center, Clinton.
The S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
