JoAnn (Campbell) McManus, 48, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, after a long
battle with cancer.
Funeral services took place at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Thomas J. McNamara officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart School.
JoAnn was born March 14, 1948 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Myles and Freda (Jones) Campbell.
She was a resident of Mt. Pleasant most of her life, graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in 1967. She was employed by the Isabella County Department of Social Services where she will be missed by many dear and treasured friends.
She is survived by her husband, Michael McManus of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Todd Myers of Atlanta, Ga., two daughters, Lauri (Myers) (Aaron) Liscomb of Mt. Pleasant, Sarah McManus at home; her father, Myles William Campbell of Mt. Pleasant; five sisters, Jackie Masternak of Lansing, Sharon Hartman of Mt. Pleasant, Janet Cappo of Midland, Jane Sweeney of Mt. Pleasant, Denise Harris of Rochester, N.Y; and a brother, Larry Campbell of Charlevoix.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Freda Campbell; and her brother, David Campbell.
