Beth Penrod Davis Anderton Obituary Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Beth Anderton passed away peacefully at her home in Orem, Utah on Monday, June 24, 2013 where she had been lovingly cared for by her husband, family, and Tender Care Hospice attendants.

She was born August 28, 1921 to William E. and Sarah Goodman Penrod in Provo, Utah.

She married Elbert Davis on May 11, 1936 and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple.

Beth lived a rich and rewarding life full of memorable experiences and achievements. While raising their six children, Renae, Gary, Dennis, Brent, Gerald and Jan on the farm in Spanish Fork, Beth and Elbert left a legacy of hard work, devotion and love.

She was an accomplished seamstress and won many 1st Place Ribbons for her quilts and crocheting. She also earned trophies in bowling which she and Elbert enjoyed together. Beth was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished her callings, especially the time served with Elbert in the Church's extraction program.

Beth worked for 25 years at Standard Office Supply, where she says she gained her true education. After her beloved Elbert passed away in 1987, Beth married Lynn Anderton on September 20, 1991 and they enjoyed a happy, tender and loving relationship full of grand adventures in their 22 years together. Their favorite activities were traveling, golfing and visiting family.

Beth is survived by her husband Lynn; sons Gary of Orem, Dennis (Susan) of Richfield and Jan (Shonagh) of Pleasant Grove as well as 23 grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters; Fae, Virl, Arthur, Eva, Deon, Pearl, Glen and David, children; Brent, Gerald and Renae and a grandson Michael Nelson. Nothing was more important to her than her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

The family would like to express it's gratitude to Heather Marshall and Stephanie Puffer for their kindness and help in arranging Hospice care for our wife and mother, and to the attendants from Tender Care Hospice Services, Jake, Laurel and Jessica for the love and attention they gave.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Suncrest 9th Ward Chapel, 130 N. 400 W., Orem.

Friends may call prior to the service from 9:00 to 9:45.

Interment, Spanish Fork Cemetery.
