Norman Hoyer Dies; Retired Salesman
Retired salesman Norman H. Hoyer, 67, died Monday in Wishard Memorial Hospital. Born at Batesville, he had lived in Indianapolis four years.
He retired in 1973 after 26 years as a salesman for the Empire Propane and Appliance Store at Osgood.
He was a member of the Osgood Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Osgood and Clermont Lions clubs and the Osgood chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home, with burial in Washington Park North Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carol Hoyer; two daughters, Mrs. Johnny (Betty) Rutherford of Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Beverly Buxton of Osgood; two sons, Darrell Hoyer of Indianapolis and Lowell Hoyer of Fort Worth, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Hoyer of Napoleon.
