One of the saddest funerals ever seen in this village took place from St Joseph's Church on Monday, when the remains of Mrs John Bumster were laid to rest. She was born in Verbank but 35 years ago, and there she spent her childhood days….. Oh why could not the hand of death spare this mother to her six little ones.... She was a model wife, a devoted mother and a true Christian woman.
