Franklin Rice Poteet, 26 yrs (b. 1914 CO) and single, and is a lodger; working as an attendant at the Colorado State Hospital Annex.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. When his brother, Lt. Willis Poteet, died in a U.S. Army Air Corps plane crash in Texas, Franklin was assigned to the U.S. Naval radio station at Annapolis, Md.

Frank and Mina had the following children:
1. Kathryn Ann Poteet, b. 25 June 1941, Pueblo, Pueblo Co., Colorado;
2. Phyllis Louise Poteet, 16 Feb. 1946, Annapolis, Anne Arundel county, MD; and
3. Virginia (Ginger) Ruth Poteet, b. 25 Mar. 1948, Laredo, Webb Co., Texas.

At the time of his death, Franklin resided in Fayette Co., Georgia. It appears that at one time he was employed by a railroad system. His brother Willis at one time was employed with the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad; perhaps Franklin was, too.
