OBITUARY - Berwick Enterprise, Berwick, Pennsylvania 20 May 1953 Monday

Mrs. Daisy M. Remley, aged 61, of 130 Garfield Avenue, succumbed at 3:25 this morning in Berwick Hospital where she had been a patient for the past week. She had been bedfast for the past six weeks.

Mrs. Remley was born in Briar Creek Township, August 19, 1901. She was a member of Bethany EUB Church and Unity Bible Class.

Surviving are her husband, Stanley E. Remley, and the following children: Arthur, Richard and Terry, of Berwick; Mrs. Walter Bittner, Nescopeck; Mrs. Howard Kemmerer, Berwick; Mrs. Richard Bankds, Troy; Mrs. Lewis DiPasquale, Berwick; Miss Dorothy and Miss Anna Mary, at home; Mrs. Edgar Creveling, Nescopeck; Mrs. John Knorr, Berwick. There are 41 grandchildren; one brother: Donald Kishbaugh Berwick RD 2; and a sister: Mrs. Leroy Stimeling, Berwick.

Services will be held from the Harold J. Longenberger Home for Funerals, Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. I. W. Moyer will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street.
