Rev. Nathan Grier Hills, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Heyworth and Bloomington, died Friday (Nov. 8, 2002) at Ohio State University Hospitals East, Columbus, of complications following knee replacement surgery.

He was born Jan. 18, 1918 in Oak Park, a son of Edward R. and Mary Moore Hills. He married Catherine Sparks Aug. 18, 1916. She died April 25, 1984. He married Madge Hilts on Sept. 5, 1987. She died in Dec. 2000.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen (Martha) Hills and Tom (Amy) Hills; three daughters, Ann Hills, Mary (David) Kuck and Sally (Tim) Strang; one stepdaughter, Eleanor Shives; one stepson, Donald (Martha) Hilts and 12 grandchildren.
