Lindaanne was born in Queens, New York on October 25, 1960 to Howard and Eleanor Capen.
Linda as she was known to her family and friends, was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Linda is survived by her husband, Fred, brother-in-law, Chris Cooksey, brother-in-law, Bill Cooksey all of Albuquerque, NM, cousin, Robert Capen of Oakland Gardens, NY, sister, Mary K. Anderson-Williams and her husband, Joe Bob of Albuquerque, NM, her oldest and dearest friend, Jeanne Monsees and her husband, Donald of Hauppauge, NY and many cousins from around the United States and her sweet loving dogs, Mary "Moo Moo" and Winner "Wee Wee".
Linda moved to Albuquerque, NM with her father, Howard where she went on to obtain two master's degrees in business and finance. Linda was a docent for the Rio Grande Zoo. Linda was an accomplished photographer. The epitome of a "lifelong learner" Linda continued to take on new challenges, most recently learning to play the guitar even though she was deaf. Linda always rose to the challenges of the difficult circumstances of her life. Linda had a helping spirit and a humor that could light up a room.
Linda will be sorely missed.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Jeanne Monsees and Sue Stone who greatly added value and substance to Linda's life.
Interment took place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
