Elmer Lawson Brown, of near Harmony, died Monday morning at his home after a brief illness, aged 69 years.
A son of the late John and Hannah Shepley Brown, formerly of near Harmony, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Crone Brown; a son Richard Elmer Brown and a step-daughter, Mrs. Catherine Ford, all of Harmony, a sister, Mrs. John Masser, Frederick; a brother, Emanuel Brown, Harmony; step-grandson, Paul R. Brown, Harmony and five grandchildren.
Remains rest at the funeral home in Middletown until Wednesday noon, when they will be taken to the Harmony Church of the Brethren, for funeral services there, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Samuel Lindsay, will officiate. Interment in the church cemetery. Gladhill Co., funeral directors.
