Mrs. Abercrombie
Mrs. Hazel Abercrombie, 82, of Valley, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 11 at Jeff Jones Funeral Home at 2 p.m. CST with Rev. John Cole and Rev. Brian Yates officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Union Hill.
Survivors include four children, Raymond (Irene) Abercrombie, Abanda; Ray (Jean) Abercrombie, Dadeville; William (Paulette) Abercrombie, Huguley and Floria (Kenneth) Abrams, Lanett, one sister, Lois Monroe, Valley; one brother, Jess Avery "Bud" Cole, Leoma, TN; seven grandsons, 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Abercrombie and a son, Billy Joe Abercrombie.
Mrs. Abercrombie was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Valley, AL.
Jeff Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
