"Roscoe L. Buckles, 81, died June 12, 1999. Born in Piney Flats, Tenn., he lived in the Akron area since 1963. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of eight years, and was in World War II. He retired in 1986 with 20 years service as a sales engineer for the Falls Stamping and Welding Co. Mr. Buckles is survived by wife, Mary; daughter... sons... three brothers, and five sisters. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Billow Lakes Chapel, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619), with Dr. Donard M. Engle officiating. Interment at Greensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to City of Green Fire Department, 4200 Massillon Rd., North Canton 44720."
