Mahlon was the father of Mahlon Keiper Antrim whose mother was Hannah Keiper Moyer (my great-great grandmother). They were evidently dating before he and his brothers moved from PA to Iowa and he probably never knew she was pregnant. After Mahlon was born, she married Henry Diehl Moyer who raised Mahlon as his own son. It was his third marriage (two previous wives died young [Betsy, the second, was Hannah's younger sister]. Hannah raised all the children from the three marriages and Mahlon.
Mahlon was raised as Mahlon Moyer but later he changed it back to Antrim.
