Few days Ago; Funeral at Talbotton Friday'
Columbus, Ga., Sept, 28.- Lingering for nearly a week after receiving serious injuries and burns in an automobile accident near Talbotton last Friday night. Dr Charles Calhoun Carson, 47, died, at the city hospital Thursday afternoon. Funeral services were held in Talbotton, of which city he was a citizen and well known as a physician...
A native of South Carolina, Dr Carson was later a student of the Atlanta Medical College, now a part of Emory University. In 1908 he was married to Miss Montie McMillan who died in 1921. In 1928 he was married to Miss Bertha Hall, of Talbotton, who survives him.

After practicing medicine in Junction City, for six years, Dr Carson removed to Talbotton, where he had practice for the past 15 years. He was a Shriner, a member of the Knights of Pythias, and Woodmen of the World.

Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Ralph Carson, of Columbus, and Charles Carson, of Talbotton;; daughters, Miss Jewel Carson, of Columbus; Miss Retna Carson and Miss Frances Carson, of talbotton.

The Masons had charge of the funeral services held at the Talbotton Methodist Church, at which Rev B Donehoo, pastor of the church, officiated.
