KEITHVILLE, LA - Services for Mrs. Pace, 80, will be held at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2000. Officiating will be Rev. Donny Ladotta, pastor of Morningside Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Summer Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Pace passed away Sunday, September 17, 2000 at Willis-Knighton South after a short illness. She was born in Keithville, LA on February 21, 1920. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandma, and great-grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband, "J.D." Pace; four brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Pace is survived by a son, Loyed Pace; daughters, Mary Pace, Ruth DeMarco and husband, Robert DeMarco; Frances Moseley and six grandchildren, Scott DeMarco, Michelle Phillips and husband, Craig, Jennifer Pace, Jamie Pace, Josh DeMarco and Sara Moseley; two great-grandchildren, Lorissa and Kirby Phillips. She is also survived by one brother, Claude King; one sister, Marion Allison and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be nephews, Kenneth Attaway, Spencer King, Russell King, Duane King, Shan Allison, Robert King, Jay King and Claude Lee Attaway. Honorary pallbearers are Bradley King, Jerry Attaway, Buddy McMilleon, Henry "Butch" King, Jr. and Craig Phillips. Special thanks to all of the ICU nurses at Willis-Knighton South. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 687-1526
