Mrs. Grace Goodwin

Mrs. Grace H. Goodwin, 930 Lincoln, died Friday morning at her home after an extended illness.

She was born at Gettysburg, Pa. She came to Topeka in 1889 with her parents and lived here since that time except during the years 1912 to 1935, when she lived in Chicago. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Her husband, Walter Goodwin, died in 1954.
Mrs. Goodwin is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia D. Wade of the home; a sister, Laura H. Martin of Paulina, Iowa; a brother, Dr. W.C. Houghtelin of Washington, D.C.; two nieces and one nephew.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial in Mount Hope cemetery.
