Alexander was the son of Jacob Bronston 1824–1903 & Livonia H Woods 1828–1885
DoB c.1855: KY Birth Records show a son born 16 Aug 1855 in Madison Co, KY to Jacob Bronston & Lavonia (sic) Woods (KY Birth Record). Conflicting Family Records give his name as Alexander Bronston born 20 Aug 1860 in KY. Since the Bronstons already lived in Kansas in 1860, there is little doubt that Alexander was their 2nd son, born 16 Aug 1855.
DoD c.1859: From his mother's 1885 obit, we can infer that Alexander came to Kansas with his family in fall of 1858. Livonia's obit reads: "In 1845 she married in Richmond, Kentucky, and lived there to the fall of 1858 when she came to Kansas. She leaves a husband and six children. They buried three children since they came to Kansas"
Alexander died before the 1860 census in the Douglas Twp, Jackson Co, Kansas Territory - it shows only Robert, Madora and Jacob enumerated with their parents [Births: Robt May 1854, Madora Aug 1856, Jacob July 1858 - all born in KY].
