W. F. Allen of Milan, Mich., was elected president and general manager of a combined lumber company, electric company, ice company, and manufacturing company in Tampa Bay, Florida. He is a well-known businessman in Michigan, where he was secretary-treasurer of the Lamkin-Allen Company, a manufacturing concern in Milan. He has had a long experience in the lumber business and mill and other manufacturing enterprises.

Bio as transcribed by contributor Martha Churchill∼William Fitch Allen grew up in Milan Mich. One of his relatives was the first European settler in the town of Milan. Today, his former home is a historical monument in the Milan area. I know he went to Florida, pursuing the creamery business. It seems he was buried twice-- once in this location, and once in the Dunedin Cemetery of Florida, #112441468.
I found a news clipping about him which says
"W. F. Allen of Milan, Mich., was elected president and general manager of a combined lumber company, electric company, ice company, and manufacturing company in Tampa Bay, Florida. This news clipping was about 1921 approximately.
It seems unlikely that two men named William F. Allen had the same year of birth and year of death. His middle name was "Fitch." I can't figure out why he has a tombstone in two different cemeteries in Florida. Can you give an explanation?
