Dixie D. Perkins, 95, of Payson, AZ, born January 6, 1926, stepped into Glory, Thursday morning, February 18, 2021.

She invested her life in her family, and was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Harold R. Perkins.

She is survived by six adult children; Kenneth, Doris(Greg)Gay, Stanley, Robin((Judith), Jonathan (Mary), Gregory(Sandy), Joseph(Kris), 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, such a treasured legacy.

She would pray daily for hours for her family, friends and world issues.

Dixie was an avid reader, including the priority of reading her Bible and Secret Place devotional.

She loved flower gardening, traveling, and sitting in the sun on her front porch rocking chair, often breaking into one of her favorite hymns.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 26th at 2 p.m. at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes in Shelbyville, IN with public viewing at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Miller Cemetery.

A second Celebration of Life service will be scheduled in June when other family members and friends can attend.
