Mrs. Sprinkle was born June 9, 1939 in Buncombe County to the late Rev. Lester Edwards and Lillie Bell Honeycutt Edwards. Mrs. Sprinkle retired from Buncombe County schools after 22 years of service. She loved to decorate with flowers, birds and birdhouses.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Jackson Sprinkle to whom she was married 55 years prior to his passing in 2013; two sisters, Pauline Rice and Hazel Rash; and two brothers, Luther and Clyde Edwards.
Surviving are her children, Rhonda Keef and husband Stephen, and Darryl Sprinkle and wife Pamela Price Sprinkle; two brothers, Claude Edwards and Rev. Gene Edwards; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Tucker, Caitlin and Tori.
Her graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday April 11, 2021 in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville. Reverend Steve Rhinehart will officiate.
