Arcola, Ill. — Funeral services for Mrs. John Black, 89, who died Saturday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Warner of Arcola, were held today at the local Baptist church. She leaves, besides Mrs. Warner, two other daughters, including Mrs. Lena East of Charleston, and five sons, including Luther J. Black of Tuscola, assistant state superintendent of public instruction.

Services held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Arcola Baptist church; burial in Arcola cemetery under direction of Shrader funeral home.
