"Infant" - recorded between Josie W. BRADDY (1878-1958) and Mrs. Emma DOSSON ALTHISER (1861-1905). Probably the son of William J. & Josie (WATKINS) BRADDY.

Inscription may mean "Infant of J. W. (or William J.) BRADDY" rather than being an infant named J. W. BRADDY.

Love in Family, Contributor #48149498, reports: there is an unmarked child sized slab within the plot however I beleive this is the resting place of little J W Braddy jr.

On 25 JUN 2020, Scott Braddy (Contributor #46980257) submitted suggested edits that this child was born and died in Georgia and provided links to evidently parents William J. BRADDY (1873-1953) #112347932 & Jossie L. (WATKINS) BRADDY (1878-1958) #112348099.

[William (aged 26 years, born Aug. 1873 GA, both parents b. GA), a farmer, & his wife Josephine (24, born April 1876 GA, both parents born GA) appear on the 1900 census of Militia District 877 (Centerville Dist.) of Talbot County; they had been married 5 years, and she had borne 2 children, both still living and present in the household: William (2, b. Oct. 1897 GA) & Henry (1, b. May 1899 GA).

This is apparently the same family as on the 1910 census of Militia District 883 (Prattsburg Dist.) in Talbot County: farmer Will (38) & Josie (32), married 14 years. She had borne 5 children, all still living and in the household (this does not account for the infant b. & d. in 1908). Clarence (12 -- same as William?), Ira (10 -- same as Henry?), Early (male, 6), Eva M. (4) & W. J. (male, 2). Since the family are in Talbot County, GA, in 1900 and 1910, it's probably not unreasonable to suppose their infant was born and died in Georgia. - jml]
