Ron grew up in the Bemis near Codell, Ks. His family was in the oil business. Ron worked in the oil field all his life in Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana doing various oilfield jobs. He was injured in 1978 and took an early retirement with N.L. Industry. Ron is preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers and son, Dennis. He leaves behind his wife, Alice, Humboldt SD., son Doug, Humboldt SD., Rae Lynn (Donnie) Ponca City, OK., George (Kelly) Hartford ., ,SD., James (Michelle) Marion, SD., Danielle (Derek) Kansas City, MO., and Dennis Jr. (Tammy) of Sioux Falls, SD., Ron also had 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A private service for Ron was held earlier this week. Ron was cremated and his ashes inurned at the Natoma City Cemetery.
