Daughter of Friedrich Conrad Hausmann and Catherina Kotzenberg or Kastenberger. She was the wife of John George Halboth (1852 before 1906). Caroline and George were married April 3, 1879 in Odebolt, Sac County, Iowa. To this union four children were born. Three of the four children are: Edward Halboth 1883-died in childhood, Laura A. Halboth Peterson 1887-1956 and Louis Christ Halboth 1892-1936. Caroline Halboth, her son Louis C. Halboth and her daughter Laura Halboth Peterson are buried in Row 11, Odebolt Cemetery.
