Eldon Buskirk Sr. of Monmouth passed away Wednesday, November 1, 1972.
Funeral services were held in the Holliday-Hoover Funeral Home in Monmouth Saturday.
He was born in Peoria county December 11, 1891, a son of Hilas Elmer and Sarah Jane Belford Buskirk. He farmed for years in the Stark county area and moved to Kewanee where he lived for several years before moving to Monmouth 10 years ago.
He was united in marriage to Maude Marvin of Brimfield, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Wilbur Buskirk of Kewanee and Eldon Buskirk Jr. of Monmouth; one daughter, Mrs. James (Helen) Todd of Monmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Dayle) Burch and Mrs. John (Ethel) Porter of Wyoming; and two brothers, Verne Buskirk and Donald Buskirk of San Diego, California.
He was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, five brothers, and one sister.
