Edward Bernard Brown, 69 years old, passed away on Sunday, June 4th, at Providence Hospital. He lived at 1019 Orville Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. Mr. Brown had been a resident of the Kansas City area for 67 years and had been employed as an asbestos worker for 55 years, retiring in 1951. He was a member of the Asbestos Workers Union, Local No. 27 and was a charter member of St. Peter's Cathedral and its Holy Name Society.

Mr. Brown was survived by his wife Frances A. Brown, and his daughter, Miss Loretta Brown, both of the home; three sons, August Brown of 1863 North 32nd in Kansas City, Kansas, Clarence Brown of Milwaukee and Frank Brown of St. Charles, Missouri; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His funeral services and Rosary recitation were held at the Butler 18th Street Chapel in Kansas City, Kansas. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter's Cathedral.
