Thomas Hughes, 68, of Monahans passed away on April 19, 2009 in Odessa. He was born on May 3, 1940 in Shelbyville, Texas. He was a retired motel owner and served in the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church. Reverend Stan Huffty officiated. Burial followed at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Thomas is survived by his six children, Pam Landry of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Cindy Seylor of Nipomo, California, Charlotte Hughes of Marlin, Texas, Jennifer Hernandez, Jeffery Hughes and Jason Hughes, all from Monahans; two brothers, Henry Hughes and David Hughes of Center, Texas.
