Mrs. Pauline Larson Dastrup, 81, died at her home in Richfield Wednesday [March 7, 1945}.
A daughter of Jens and Anne Dorthea Anderson Larson, she was born Sept. 28, 1864 at Fairview. She moved with her mother to Holden, Millard county, when her mother married L.C. Stephenson. Mrs. Dastrup lived there until she went to B.Y.A. in Provo, from which she graduated in 1886. She then came to Sevier county, where she married Jacob Dastrup Jan. 11, 1888. They lived in Sigurd until 1928 when they moved to Provo. They returned to Richfield in 1929 and have resided here since.
Mrs. Dastrup [was] an active LDS church worker. She served as Sunday school secretary at the age of 14 and [served as] a teacher in the Sunday school all her life. She was counselor in the Sevier LDS Stake Relief Society from 1913 until 1920. She worked with her husband while he was the Sevier stake chairman of the genealogical committee for six years.
She was the mother of 11 children. Surviving are eight sons and daughters: Mrs. Lixia D. Warnock, Leland L. and LaMar A. Dastrup, all of SIgurd; Ila D. Childs, Gunnison; Mrs. Evadna D. Eckersley, J. Elmer Dastrup, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Thelma D. McDonald, Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Louise D. Wilson, RIchfield: 33 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the family home from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services, which will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Second LDS ward chapel in RIchfield by Wallace Sorenson, bishop. Burial will be in the Richfield City cemetery under the direction of the Warner mortuary, Richfield.
