Lou Myrtle Munger Doctor, daughter of F.N. Munger and Celia Vaux, was born February 14, 1878, at Belleville, Kan., and passed away here April 25, 1960, at the age of 82 years, two months and 11 days. As a young girl she received her education from the public schools of this county.
She married James Doctor June 27, 1895, and to this union four girls were born, Ellen, Grace, Marguerite and Elizabeth.
Mrs. Doctor was a member of the Central Christian Church since 1893 and a regular attender as long as health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, husband James on March 14, 1939, daughters, Ellen Brown and Elizabeth Douglas.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Grace Acker, San Diego, Cal., and Mrs. Marguerite Hughes, Long Beach, Cal.; granddaughters, Mrs. Betty Yankle, Glendale, Cal., and Miss Ernestine Cornelson, Long Beach, Cal.; and one grandson James Leedom of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; great=grandsons, Craig and Kirk; great-granddaughter, Jamie Sue; one sister Amy Munger Doctor of Washington, D.C., and other relatives and friends.
Services were conducted by Maurice Graham from the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart funeral home April 27, and burial was in Belleville cemetery.
