RITES SET FOR W.O. PILCHER

Funeral services for William Orville Pilcher are to be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, August 7, at the First Methodist Church in Frederick, it has been announced. Rev. Earl Nowlin, pastor, and Rev. Farris Weaver of Snyder will be in charge of rites and interment will be made in the Frederick Cemetery.
Pilcher passed away at his home, 113 W. Aster Avenue, Monday, following an illness of several months' duration.
The well-known Tillman County resident was born in Kansas June 9, 1887 moving to the Indian Territory in 1902 living near Hobart.
He was married to Miss Still Dill [sic] in 1909 at Hobart.
Pilcher served as engineer at the Peoples' Ice Company for twenty-one years and has made a wide circle of friends in the community.
Member of Lodges
He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the Rebekah Lodges. Members of the IOOF Lodge will conduct graveside rites.
Included in the survivors are the widow and three children: Mrs. Edith Avarilla Greer [sic], Frederick; O. J. Pilcher, Long Beach, California; Mrs. Dorothy Juletta Oakley, Hollister. Three brothers and nine grandchildren also survive.
Honorary pallbearers will be: C. M. Hostetler, Othe James, J, J, Zumwalt, W. E. Males, Ed Cameron, and C. F. Vickrey. Active pallbearers will be Cecil Rock, Roy Givens, C. D. Payne, Aldine Cobb, Alvin Curl, and Charles McFall.

His wife's name was Edith Lucy Still, not Still Dill, and his older daughter's married name was spelled Greear, not Greer.
