Waco, Jan. 25. -- Mrs. Afton Clark, former Granger resident, died at the home of her son, Lee Clark, in Lampasas, Sunday night at 11:15 according to advices received here. Mrs. Clark was 59 years of age. She was a resident of Waco for four years, leaving this city about eight years ago. Funeral services and burial were held at Rockdale Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Surviving Mrs. Clark are one brother, Dr. J.M. Strayborn of San Antonio; one sister, Mrs. M.A. Pipkin of Granger; three daughters, Mrs. C.R. Ramsel of Ft. Worth, Mrs. Jack Davis and Mrs. A.L. Fitzpatrick, both of Waco; two sons, J.M. Clark of Dallas and Lee Clark of Lampasas. Bartlett Tribune, January 28, 1927
