Mrs. Brooks attended Green Bay School and was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Lee McKnight; and husband Alfonzo Brooks.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by brother, George McKnight; a niece whom she raised as a daughter, Barbara J. McKnight.
Nephew will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church.
