DECATUR - Glendyth Eileen Russell, 79, of Satellite Beach, Fla., formerly of Decatur, died Monday (Nov. 6, 2000).
Services will be Monday in Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Fla., north of Melbourne, Fla. Florida Memorial Funeral Home, Rockledge, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the First Baptist Church of Eau Gallie Building Fund.
Mrs. Russell was born in Decatur on Jan. 23, 1921, the daughter of William and Sadie Engle. She retired from Borg-Warner Corp. in 1972, moving to Brevard County in 1977. Mrs. Russell was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eau Gallie. She married George Robert Russell on March 8, 1941.
Surviving are her husband; daughters, Linda Pepper of Melbourne; Donna Hicks and husband Jim of Decatur; grandchildren, Darcy Conner and Jeff Pepper; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Dwight Engle and wife Elizabeth of Sarasota, Fla.; Forrest Engle and wife Elenore of Melbourne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
