Eufaula, Ala., Aug. 25 - Edward Trippe Comer, 44,died on Monday following an operation for appendicitis on Friday. He was the son of Colonel G.L. Comer and nephew of former Governor B.B. Comer. He was active in church, civic and social life.
He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and was cashier for the East Alabama Bank.
He is survived by:
His widow: the former Miss Catherine Jelks
Sons: William and Edward Comer
Daughter: Alice Comer
Brothers: William Comer of Atlanta; Legare Comer of Oakhill, Florida; James Comer of Eufaula
Sisters: Mrs. Frank Jennings and Miss Mary Comer.
The funeral will be Wednesday.
