Mrs. Biondich was born Dec. 20, 1921, to Mary A. and George F. Ross Sr. in Hays, Kan. She married George P. Biondich on June 2, 1956. Her family said, ''Dorothy will be remembered for her strength and love. She was always available to listen, give advice and love her family unconditionally. ''Moving to Alaska in 1957 was an adventure and a challenge, proving that Dorothy had a true pioneer spirit. Even though she was isolated from her family in Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming, she never lost touch with family and friends.'' Mrs. Biondich is survived by her husband, George P. Biondich of Anchorage; son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Sylvia Biondich of Anchorage; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jeff Basile of Anchorage; grandchildren, Karen and Joseph Biondich and Brandon Basile, all of Anchorage; sister, Gladys Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and brother, George F. Ross Jr. of Peyton, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vincent Allen Ross; and sisters, Lillian Hartzel and Elma Stepp.
