.....Elizabeth was the daughter of Samuel Packwood and Elizabeth Turner Packwood of Patrick County, Virginia.

.....She was the granddaughter of Shadrack Turner and Ann Pollard Turner of Henry County, Virginia (Henry County borders Patrick County). They were the parents of her mother Elizabeth Turner Packwood.

.....Elizabeth married Abraham Prillaman 4 December 1849 (Marriage Bond) in Patrick County, Virginia. Abraham was the son of John Prillaman and his first wife (name unknown) of Franklin County, Virginia.

.....Both Elizabeth and Abraham are buried in The Prillaman Family Cemetery at Callaway, Franklin County, Virginia, where Abraham's grandparents Jacob Prillaman, Sr. and Waltpurgelly Prillaman are buried. They were the first Prillamans to arrive in America, traveling from Switzerland in 1746.


......Elizabeth and Abraham lived at the old family home near Callaway, Franklin Co. They had seven children. She was known as "Grandy Betsy".
