Mrs. Shumaker Succumbs At 73
GALION - Mrs. Mary M. Shumaker, 73, formerly of Galion, died Wednesday evening in Sandusky Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born May 6, 1895, the daughter of Henry and Augusta (Kline) Rehl, and was married to Ruben Shumaker, who preceded her in death in October 1967. Also preceding her in death were two brothers and one grandson.
She is survived by one son, Richard E. Rehl, of Rt. 1, Castalis, one brother, Lloyd Rehl, of Marion, three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Monday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Kubach Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Kloth of Trinity Lutheran Church of Venice officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.
