She was raised and educated there. After her marriage, they moved to Bremerton where she worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. After the warm they moved to Longview, Cowlitz County, where her husband died in 1951. In 1952 she moved to Tacoma, then to Port Orchard in 1954. She was a long time member of Bethel Grange in Port Orchard. She enjoyed playing bingo, needlework, crossword puzzles, and her pets.
During World War II in Columbia, SC, she married Edgar Davis, who died in 1951, On June 25, 1955 in Tacoma she married Leo Harriman, who died June 5, 1986.
Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Magnussen of Longview, and Helen Sue Rupp of Tucson, AZ; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, June 12, at 4 pm at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard. Burial will be in Longview Memorial Cemetery.
