Eleanor Anna Mohler, 88, of Burlington, died at 11:18 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born Jan. 12, 1914, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Mary Clara Meller Steingraber. She married Earl B. Mohler on Jan. 20, 1940, in Burlington.
Mrs. Mohler was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, flower and vegetable gardening and yard work.
Survivors include five sisters, Helen Burg, Mary Dodge and Ruth Pfeffer, all of Burlington, Margaret Ostrom of Tolono, Ill., and Frances Dunnigan of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one brother, Robert L. Steingraber Jr. of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
The rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Thursday in Prugh's Chapel, after which the family will receive friends until 7:30 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Mohler will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gerald Stouvenel officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
