Mrs. Cora Frances Freeman Gill, age 85, of Martin died Thursday, 07/31/2014, at Obion County Nursing Home in Union City, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Friday, August 1, 2014, Murphy Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday beginning at 11:00 A.M., two hours prior to funeral service at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Gill is survived by her children, Stan (Robin) Baker of Martin, Clift (Donna) Parks of Duck Hill, MS, Sheila (Mike) Parrott of Jackson, TN, Sharon (Kenneth) Barnes of Union City; her grandchildren, Allie Baker, Kenthia McKinnis, Jeremy Barnes, Kelsey Barnes, Richard Parks, Chad Parks and Josh Parks, one great-grandson, Kreigh McKinnis. Mrs. Gill was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Freeman, Sr. and Lera Erwin Freeman; her brother, Ralph Freeman, Jr.; her sister, Elwanda Walker.

Mrs. Gill retired from Martin Manufacturing Company. She was an active participant of the Martin Senior Citizens Center. She loved quilting and provided quilts for all her family members. She was a volunteer worker at Wee Care, loved to travel and loved spending time with family, especially grandchildren. Mrs. Gill was an active member of Central Baptist Church.
