Esther V. (Olphin) Grove, 92, of Felton, died at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at Mariner Health of Forest Hill in Forest Hill, Md., after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Clester L. Grove Sr., who died Dec. 7, 1989.

The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Burg Funeral Home, 134 W. Broad way, Red Lion. Burial will be in Bethany United Methodist Trinity Cemetery. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Her pastor, the Rev. Judi A. Dunkelberger Smith, will officiate.

Mrs. Grove was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Chanceford Township. She was the daughter of the late Burtus and Laura (Runkle) Olphin.

She was a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Felton, where she had been a choir member.

Mrs. Grove is survived by a son, Clester L. Grove Jr. of Felton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
