Rosalie was the daughter of Joseph and Sophia-Hannah Pariseau. She was married to Eleazer Barkyoumb.

Death of Rose M. Barkyoumb

Mrs. Rose M. Barkyoumb died suddenly March 2nd at the home of her eldest daughter, Mrs. George Stuart, after a lingering illness.

She was born in Fairfield July 15, 1859, the lass 33 years of her life were passed in this town. Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Eugenia Stuart and Ruth Barkyoumb of this town. Mrs. Lillian Archambault and Mrs. Lena Wimble of Fairfax and Mrs. Florence Therrien of Hartford Conn., and three sons, Will of Fairfax, John of St. Albans and Leroy of this town. Also by one sister, Mrs. Elmer Johnson of Portland, Ore., and three brothers, Joseph Pariseau of Los Angels, Calif., Henry Pariseau of St. Albans. There are 15 grandchildren.

The Funeral was held from St. Luke's Church in Fairfax at 9 o'clock Monday. The Rev. H. C. Barrett officiating. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Albans. Among those who attended the funeral were Arthur Pariseau, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Barkyoumb of St. Albans, Mrs. K. E. Hodge, Mrs. James Dower of Burlington and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Therrien of Hartford, Conn.

Her fortitude and uncomplaining spirit through all her sufferings gave her testimony of her unflinching faith in the divine omnipotence.
