Services for James Darrell Keen, Sr., age 100, of Palestine, will be held at Southside Baptist Church with Bro. Forrest Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. Mr. Keen died in Palestine at the Dogwood Trails Assisted Living Community.

He was born to James Edward Keen and Della Brown Keen.

Mr. Keen was a veteran of WWII, serving in both military branches of the Army and Navy. Before retiring, he had been employed as a shipping clerk with Upjohn Drug Company.

Mr. Keen was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two wives; Bertha Johannes Keen and Ruby Kennedy Keen. He is survived by a daughter; Edith Daune Fusillo and husband Robert and a son; James Darrell Keen, Jr. and wife Cynthia; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several stepchildren and their families.

Arrangements are under direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
