William, age 74, died at Ness County Hospital after a short illness. He was the son of George and Amelia "Emma" Ann Elizabeth (Thomas) Stialwat. He married Mabel Reed on April 24, 1918, in Garden City. Survivors include the widow; sons, Glen Stiawalt, Claude Stiawalt, and Wayne Stiawalt, his sister, Mrs. Harold Riepe, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral was held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City. Burial was in Ness City Cemetery.
