Mrs. Lenora Sama, 64, R. 1, Campbellsburg, died at 8:55 p.m. Thursday at Washington County Hospital.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and was a resident of Washington County the past 26 years. She was born Aug. 31, 1910 in Beattyville, Ky., to G. C. and Lucy Hacker Napier. On June 3, 1927 she married Salvatore Sama Sr. and he survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Carlo of Winchester, Ky., Henry of Macon, Ga., Charlie of Salem, Joe of R. 1, Campbellsburg, Salvatore Sama Jr. of R. 2, Campbellsburg; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Mumprey, Cincinnati, Mrs. Ruth Bell, Charleston, Mrs. Lucy Davidson, Campbellsburg, Mrs. Evelyn Couch, Beattyville, Ky., Mrs. Betty Wilkerson, Campbellsburg, and Viola Gilstrap, R. 4, Salem; one sister, one brother and one half-brother; 54 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday Newkirk Memorial Chapel with services at 2 p.m. Monday at Riverview Cemetery in Beattyville, Ky. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 tonight.
