MEDORA

Grandpa Van Patten, an old and respected citizen, died Saturday morning. The funeral was preached Tuesday at 2 o'clock, after which his remains were taken back to Peoria, IL for burial, accompanied by his son, George.

NEWS FROM OVER THE COUNTY - MEDORA

Grandpa Van Patten died Saturday, June 10, 1911. The funeral services were held at the Medora church and then he was taken to Illinois to be buried. Harr Lyons and family near Liberty Center came over in their auto to attend the funeral of Grandpa Van Patten.
