--------- Buss, Harold E. (20 MAR 1914 - 6 DEC 1928)
Harold Ernest Buss, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Buss, was born March 20, 1914, in the town of Reseburg, Clark County, Wis.
He attended school for the last time on Monday, Nov. 26th, when he was suddenly taken ill. He was operated upon for appendicitis on Wednesday, Nov. 28th, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls. The operation apparently was successful and a rapid recovery was hoped for. However, this was not to be. He was summoned to his eternal home on Thursday, Dec. 6th, 1928, at 10:30 p.m., the tender age of 14 years, 8 months and 16 days.
He is survived by his mourning parents, by two brothers, Elmer and Bernard, and by two sisters, Vera and Mildred.
The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Lutheran Church, Reseburg, Pastor Theo. Laesch officiating. The mortal remains were laid to rest in the Reseburg Cemetery.
