DOUGLAS - Funeral services for Mark Allen Groskopf, 43, will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Gorman Funeral Homes - Converse Chapel in Douglas, with Rev. Linda Wells of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation has taken place.

He died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Presbyterian - Saint Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colo. after a courageous battle with leukemia.

Born March 11,, 1964 in Torrington, he was the son of Richard Lee and Carol Jean (Pomeroy) Groskopf.

In 1991, he met Leslie Weidenhamer, and together they raised three children. the role of father brought great joy to his life.

His interests included fishing, hunting, and driving in the mountains.

Survivors include his three children, Ashley Weidenhamer, Mitchell Groskopf, and Mari Groskopf, all of Douglas; his father of Las Cruces, N.M.; one brother, Daivd Groskopf and his wife of Camano Island, Wash.; one sister, Rhonda "Dayleen" Harkin and her husband of Vancouver, Wash.' and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in Death by his mother.
